The Oliver Smith Foundation was created as a response to our 18 year old son’s synthetic drug related death in May, 2012. Oliver was a beautiful, intelligent, loving son and brother, who lit up a room with his presence.  By partnering with Birmingham Bloomfield Community Coalition to develop and sustain local programs that reach out to teens struggling with drugs - and their parents who are often unaware of the signs of drug use - we provide help that teens and parents may be unaware exists or feel is unable to obtain. Our aim is to save a life. Please help us.

The Second Annual Oliver Smith Memorial Baseball Tournament

2nd Annual Oliver Smith Memorial Baseball TournamentOn Saturday May 10, 2014, Bloomfield Hills High School will host the 2nd Annual Oliver Smith Memorial Baseball Tournament, with all proceeds going to The Oliver Smith Foundation.  Four teams – Bloomfield Hills High, Birmingham Groves, Cranbrook and Franklin Road Christian – will play a single game elimination tourney.

As part of the tournament we host a silent auction.  Last year, thanks to dozens of generous donations, we raised over $15,000!  This year we want to double that number and we need your help.

We would ask that you consider donating an item to be put up for auction.  With 100% of the proceeds going to The Oliver Smith Foundation, we believe with your help we can raise enough money to make a difference in someone’s life.  Your donation, large or small, can help play a role in turning a young person’s life around.

Thank you for considering our request.  If you have any questions or need any further information on The Oliver Smith Foundation, please feel free to contact us at info@TheOliverSmithFoundation.org

Special Thanks:

The Oliver Smith Foundation would like to recognize the generosity of two families that have suffered the recent loss of a loved one and requested that donations in their honor be made to The Oliver Smith Foundation. Words cannot express our sorrow or our thanks.
